Each component is lovingly hand cut, hammered, filed and soldered together to create the perfect home for such a pretty stone.
The hand sharpened prongs and oxidised silver compliment the bands of grey minerals that cut through the pale green surface of the stone. The effect is an edgy, eye catching pendant hung on a heavier silver chain.
Serpentine is a really interesting stone with a rich history. Used to make drinking cups in Germany and to build an entire college hall in Pennsylvania. It was said to have strong protective properties and vessels built out of it would shatter if they came in contact with poison.
