100% sterling silver pendant featuring a gorgeous flashy white labradorite
Each component is lovingly handcut, hammered, filed and soldered together before being oxidised to darken the silver. When repolished the contrast between the deep grey and shiny bright silver creates a visually striking home for such a pretty stone.
The real star of the show is the labradorescence, or the mysterious blue-green glow that appears to shift deep under the surface of the stone as it catches the light.
There are many legends across northern cultures that explain the effect as being caused by the Auroroa Borealis becoming trapped in the stone.
Size:
Stone and backplate is 2.3cm in height and 2.2cm in width.
Ring size is between P to S in UK sizes and 8 to 9.5 in US sizes. The ring has an open back design and is adjustable.
